Bio

Ashley Kooyenga is the Director of Business Development at McNally Capital and joined in May 2020. Ashley leads the firm’s origination and business development efforts, including sourcing new platform and add-on acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining McNally Capital, Ashley worked in various roles across the leveraged finance industry. Previously, she managed the origination and execution of senior debt financings to private equity-backed corporations for Ally Corporate Finance. Ashley also previously worked in an operating capacity, managing acquisitions and other strategic initiatives for Cordant Health Solutions, a private equity-owned, middle-market toxicology laboratory and pharmacy. Ashley received her BA in Finance and minor in Spanish from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys traveling and spent 13 months independently backpacking across 14 countries and 4 continents. She is also passionate about dance, all things fitness, Chicago’s lakefront running trail, golf, the Chicago Bulls, and family.
