Mr. Du is a partner, resident in the Beijing office. Mr. Du’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Mr. Du joined Haiwen in May 2010. Before joining Haiwen, he worked at Commerce & Finance in its Beijing office from July 2008 to April 2010. China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. in connection with its IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; Logan Property Holdings Co., Ltd. in connection with its IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; the underwriters in connection with the IPO and listing of China Modern Diary Holdings Ltd., on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; Xibei Bearing, a Chinese public company, in connection with its private placement of RMB1.71 billion in shares; CMC in connection with its investment in an online game developer and operator; CMC in connection with its investment in the public to private transactions of Charm Media Inc.; KKR in connection with its investment in Rundong Automobile Group Co., Ltd.; MSPEA in connection with its investment in the public to private transactions of Feihe International, Inc.; MSPEA in connection with its investment in Sparkle Roll Group Ltd.; MSPEA in connection with its investment in a retail business company; Bain Capital in connection with its subscription of convertible bonds issued by Gome Electrical Appliances Holding Ltd.; Natixis Private Equity Asia Capital in connection with its investment in Fujian Sanhe Tea Co., Ltd.; Bank of China Group Investment Ltd. in connection with its investment in Zhangjiagang Huahui Special Glass Co., Ltd. Mr. Du received his Master of Laws degree and his Ph.D degree from the Renmin University of China based in Beijing, China in 2006 and 2012, respectively.
