Bio

Brian joined York Capital Management in January 2014 and is a Managing Director and Co-Deputy General Counsel for the Firm. He is also a member of the Firm’s Operating Committee. Brian is responsible for legal matters as they relate to York’s various advised clients and products. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel at PineBridge Investments LLC, where he advised multiple investments teams in connection with various matters, including debt and equity investments, the formation and structuring of pooled investment vehicles and managed accounts, compensation matters and ongoing compliance with the federal securities laws. Brian also worked at AIG Investments, the predecessor to PineBridge Investments, advising investment teams on all aspects of investments, fund formation and fund raising. From 2000-2007, Brian was a corporate associate at Paul Hastings LLP in New York. Brian received a B.A. from Manhattan College and a J.D. from the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
