Mr. Zaslavsky founded Waveland in 2000. Before founding the firm, Mr. Zaslavsky was the Chief Operating Officer of Urban Shopping Centers, Inc., a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (NYSE:URB). Prior to joining Urban and its predecessor, JMB Realty Corporation, Mr. Zaslavsky was a corporate attorney at Katten, Muchin & Zavis (now Katten, Muchin, Rosenman LLP) in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Zaslavsky received his J.D. from Stanford University and his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. Mr. Zaslavsky is a Certified Public Accountant.
