Vishnu Menon is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2005 and leads the firm’s West Coast office where he focuses on investments in the Software, Media and Information sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Menon worked at TPG Capital and Perry Capital focusing on investments in public and private technology and media companies. Prior to that, he worked at Symphony Technology Group and J.P. Morgan Capital focusing on investments in similar sectors. Mr. Menon is a Director of Salsify, Experity, Intelligent Medical Objects, and Neogov. He also led the firm’s investment in Samsara and co-led investments in Modernizing Medicine and Cargomatic. He has also been involved in a number of the firm’s historical investments including TurnItIn (formerly iParadigms), A Place for Mom, Slickdeals, Dude Solutions, Bankrate, and Yodlee. He received a B.A. with distinction in International Relations from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
