Ashutosh Somani is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2007 and co-leads the firm’s San Francisco office where he focuses on investments in the Software and Payments sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Somani worked as an investment professional at Audax Group and as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company. He is actively involved with the firm’s investment in OfferUp and is a Director of Duetto, Procare Solutions and Zimperium. Mr. Somani received an S.B. and M.Eng. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
