Anne Marie joined Valor as its Chief Financial Officer in 2020. She manages and provides strategic direction with respect to all aspects of Valor’s financial operations, including fund accounting, portfolio valuation, corporate accounting, and tax. She also oversees other aspects of Valor’s infrastructure , including technology, human resources administration and facilities management. Anne Marie has over 30 years of experience in finance and the investment management industry. Prior to Valor, Anne Marie served as a Partner and Managing Director of Operations at Aurora Investment Management L.L.C. Anne Marie played a key role as she directed the development and oversight of operational infrastructure to support growth as Aurora scaled to $14B in assets under management. Anne Marie was a member of Aurora’s investment committee and built and led a due diligence team that evaluated more than 100 hedge funds located in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Prior to Aurora, Anne Marie held senior roles at Lasalle Portfolio Management and Edelman Public Relations. She began her career at Grosvenor Capital Management. Anne Marie holds both an M.S. in Taxation and a B.S. in Accounting from DePaul University.
