alerie Wong joined the team early 2020. With more than a decade of Asian private equity experience, she is focusing on deal origination and execution, as well as fundraising. She joined from Rising Tide Asia (RTA) and subsequently Brown Legacy Group (BLG), a Single US Family Office where she drove the Asia investment strategy and the firm’s healthcare strategy. She sourced, under-wrote and exited direct, indirect and co-investment transactions in the healthcare and education sectors. Prior to RTA/BLG, Valerie was a Senior Associate at L Catterton Asia, the largest consumer-focused private equity firm in Asia with $1.5b AUM, where she sourced, led and executed investments over $350m across South East Asia and Hong Kong. Previously, Valerie worked as an analyst at Rothschild Venture Asia, a $40m venture capital fund, where she focused on private equity investments in early to late stage growth companies in the healthcare, business services, and manufacturing sectors. Valerie holds a B.Com in Finance and Information Systems from the University of New South Wales.
