Edward Mundt is Vice President, Treasury and Operations on the Finance team at Thoma Bravo. Based in Miami, he joined the firm in 2021. Prior to Thoma Bravo, Edward was the Head of Treasury Advisory at BDO USA. Previously, he served in Treasury Operations at Magic Leap. Before Magic Leap, Edward was responsible for global financial functions in several leadership roles: Assistant Treasurer at Hard Rock International, Director of International Treasury at Asurion, and Manager of Treasury and M&A at First Advantage, Inc. During this time, he was based in the US, Hong Kong and London. He also served on the Steering Committee for the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payment Task Force in 2015 and 2016. Edward holds a Certification in Corporate Innovation from Stanford GSB, and he earned his MBA and his BA in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, Edward is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and a Certified International Cash Manager (Cert ICM).
