Cynthia Clarke is the Chief Information Officer at Thoma Bravo. Based in Chicago, she joined the firm in 2021 and is responsible for Thoma Bravo's internal technology strategy. Cynthia is an experienced technology executive with a proven track record of partnering with business leads to create and execute transformative strategies. With over 25 years in the financial industry, she has helped to innovate, optimize and deliver solutions that drive growth and efficiency in times of great challenge and change. In 2019, Cynthia founded Citrine Strategy, a strategic consulting firm focused on the development and execution of digital strategy, data strategy, and Agile transformation. In several of Cynthia’s past roles at leading financial companies she developed technology strategies to support critical business processes, client-facing products, site support and infrastructure. Her past roles include Chief Technology Officer at Donnelley Financial Solutions, Chief Information Officer at Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Senior Vice President at Northern Trust, and Chief Information Officer at UBS Brinson. Cynthia earned a BS degree in Engineering – Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also holds a certificate in Mastering Design Thinking from the MIT Sloan Executive Education program.
