Bio

Bill Ryan is a Vice President and member of the Fund Accounting team serving as a Fund Controller for private equity & credit funds and accounts. He is based in New York. Mr. Ryan has over 15 years of private equity accounting experience. Prior to joining TRG in February 2020, Mr. Ryan was an assistant controller with Prospect Capital Corporation, a business development company. Prior to joining Prospect, he was an assistant controller at Centerbridge Partners L.P., a private investment management firm, where he was responsible for accounting and financial reporting in its private equity funds group. Prior to joining Centerbridge, Bill spent five years within the Credit Funds Group of Fortress Investment Group, LLC, a highly diversified global investment manager, where he operated as a vice president responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of multiple private equity and hybrid credit funds. He began his career in the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP, in which he most recently operated as a manager. During his six-year tenure, Bill provided assurance and advisory services to a variety of asset management clients primarily within the private equity industry. Bill received his BS cum laude from Fairfield University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
