Ahmed El-Saharty is a Vice President and is a member of the beyond BRIC public equity investment team serving as a research analyst. He is based in New York. Prior to joining TRG in January 2018, Mr. El-Saharty served as an associate at Briarwood Capital Partners, an emerging and frontier markets focused hedge fund. His research experience also includes time as analyst at CI Capital Asset Management covering the Middle East & Africa region. Mr. El-Saharty began his career at the Rock Creek Group. Mr. El-Saharty earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Toronto. He was born in Egypt and raised in Cairo and Washington DC, and is a native speaker of Arabic and French.
