Brent Williams is a Senior Partner and member of the Investment and Management Committees of The Halifax Group. Prior to joining Halifax in 1999, Brent was a Director in PaineWebber’s Merchant Banking Division, which he helped to establish. Prior to that, he was a Director in PaineWebber’s Investment Banking Division, where he was responsible for the coverage of business and industrial service companies. Brent joined PaineWebber from Smith Barney where he had similar responsibilities in its Multi-Industry and New Business Development Groups. Previously, Brent was also an Assistant Vice President in the Project Finance Department of the Sumitomo Bank. Brent serves on the Development Board of The University of Texas, the Advisory Council of the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas and the Investment Committee of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Foundation. Brent earned his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and his M.B.A. from Rice University. In his free time, he enjoys golf, fly fishing, skiing, hiking and travel.
