Anushka Sunder is a Senior Managing Director in the Private Equity Group, and she focuses primarily on Blackstone’s private equity investments in Healthcare. She is also actively involved in technology, media, and consumer opportunities. Ms. Sunder joined Blackstone in 2013 and is a Director of Precision Medicine Group, Medline, HealthEdge, Hello Sunshine, TeamHealth, CARD, and Optiv and previously served as a Director of Blue Yonder. She has also been actively involved in Blackstone’s investments in Signature Aviation, NCR, and InComm. She is co-chair of the Blackstone Women’s Initiative task force and on the Blackstone Charitable Foundation Leadership Council. Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Sunder was at TPG Capital and Goldman Sachs in the Financial Institutions Group. Ms. Sunder received her B.A. from Harvard College, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute scholar at the National Institutes of Health and co-authored a paper in the Journal of Neuroscience. She is also a member of the Corporate Leaders Program at the Council on Foreign Relations.
