Bio

Burke joined Sorenson Capital in 2014 as a member of the firm’s technology practice. Burke believes in the power of information and is passionate about all things technology. He enjoys advising smart entrepreneurs (especially on the ski lift!) who transform the way data and information shape the world we live in. Prior to Sorenson Capital, Burke was a senior financial analyst at Samsung NEXT (previously Open Innovation Center), facilitating acquisitions of software and services companies in the mobile, video, connected health, and internet of things (IoT) verticals. Before Samsung, Burke was a financial analyst with Citigroup’s Global Technology Group, where he advised some of the world’s most influential technology companies in the software, internet, and semiconductor industries. Burke graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Brigham Young University. He is fluent in Korean.
