Adam Karol joined Silver Lake in 2009 and is a Managing Director. He serves on the board of directors of A Place for Mom, Inc., GoodRx, Noom and Integrity Marketing Group. Prior to joining Silver Lake, Adam worked at Silver Point Capital, L.P., where his investment focus included private equity, distressed debt financings, and direct lending, and at Perry Capital, a multi-strategy investment firm. Previously, he worked at Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P., where he was involved with large-scale private equity investments across a wide range of industries. Prior to that, he worked as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he focused on the technology industry. Adam received a B.S. in Finance and Management Information Systems from the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management of Boston College, where he graduated first in his class, summa cum laude, and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. He also received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a former Term Member of The Council on Foreign Relations and was a member of the 2014 class of David Rockefeller Fellows.
