Bio

Bin Li is a Principal at Sagard and joined the firm in 2017. As a member of Sagard Credit Partners, Bin invests in non-sponsored credit opportunities in the North American middle market and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. He is based in New York. Prior to Sagard, Bin was an Associate at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) where he worked with Adam, Mustafa and Josh. At CPPIB he was responsible for making credit investments in the healthcare, industrial, and energy verticals, and also closed two platform private equity transactions (Wilton Re and Antares Capital) during his time there at the firm. Bin holds a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honors) from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
