Bio

Bérangère Barbe is a Partner at Sagard and joined the firm in 2005. As a member of Sagard NewGen investment team, Bérangère plays an active role in originating and executing deals, as well as in tracking investment performance. Bérangère originally joined Sagard as an Associate on the Sagard MidCap team in 2005, was promoted to Director in 2010 and Principal in 2014, and made Partner on the Sagard NewGen team in 2019. She is based in Paris. Prior to Sagard, Bérangère was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she spent nine years in the Audit and Transaction Services divisions, where she performed buyer and seller due diligence, and was involved in various acquisition projects for large corporations in France and abroad. Bérangère holds an MBA from HEC Paris and is a chartered accountant with DECF and DESCF degrees.
