Caitlin Mitchell is a Director at Riverwood Capital, focused on Marketing and Communications. Prior to Riverwood, Caitlin was most recently Managing Director of Marketing and Communications for EMPEA, the global industry association for private capital in emerging markets. While there she helped lead an integration with LAVCA, the Association for Private Capital Investment in Latin America, where she served as Chief Communications Officer. Caitlin has also held roles at financial public relations agencies Cognito and Prosek Partners supporting clients ranging from large financial institutions such as Citigroup, Nomura Research Institute, and Franklin Templeton to PE-backed fintech startups to develop global public relations and marketing strategies. Caitlin has a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, with a minor in business marketing, from the State University of New York at Fredonia, is an experienced media trainer, and has completed Securities Industry and Series 7 training courses.
