Bio

Basak is a Senior Vice President – Technical at Quantum. Prior to joining Quantum, Basak was a Director with Citi on their A&D team, where she worked on numerous transactions throughout the U.S. and Canada. Prior to Citi, she worked at Marathon as an Integrated Project Manager in the Eagle Ford asset where she also worked in the Bakken, GOM assets and in the Technology department. Basak is a SPE Distinguished Lecturer and holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
