Bio

Dave Ament is a Managing Partner and Co-CEO of Parthenon Capital and is a current member of the Investment Committee. Dave joined Parthenon as a Principal in 2003. He has significant experience in the private equity industry and has worked closely with a number of middle-market companies. Dave is responsible for evaluating and executing new investment opportunities as well as working with existing portfolio companies on various strategic and financial initiatives. His investment focus is primarily targeted towards healthcare services and HCIT, business services and education. Dave has been involved in a number of portfolio company Board of Directors, including Abeo, Inc., ADESA, Inc., Altegra Health, AmWINS Group, ASG Security, Bracket, Bryant & Stratton College, Eliza Corporation, Envysion, Insurance Auto Auctions, Intermedix Corporation, IWP, MRO, RedCard, Trinity Partners and Zelis. He is also a Trustee at Boston Medical Center, Chair of the BMC Healthnet Board of Trustees, and a member of the Board of Overseers at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Parthenon, Dave was a Principal at Audax Group, a private equity firm focused on middle-market companies, and an investment professional at Apollo Management, a large-cap global private equity firm. Dave earned his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard College.
