Bio

Cornel started his career with Oresa as Investment Officer in 1997 when the company opened a local office in Bucharest. In early 1999, Cornel was promoted to head up Oresa’s Romanian office and has since led or co-led most of the investments in Romania and Serbia, including Flanco, Credisson, La Fantana, Kiwi Finance, Somaco or RTC Proffice. During 2005 and 2006, he also took the role of CEO of Flanco. Cornel holds a B.Sc. in physics from Babes-Balyai University of Cluj Napoca and an MBA from Durham University. He sits on the Advisory Boards of Somaco, Fabryo – Atlas Paints, RTC Proffice, Kiwi Finance and RBC Group.
