Bio

David joined OpCapita in August 2018 and is a Senior Advisor in relation to our new investment, Maurices. He also serves on OpCapita's Investment Committee. David has over 34 years of experience working with and advising companies in the global consumer sector. After beginning his career at The First Boston Corporation, David joined Morgan Stanley & Co, ultimately becoming Global Head of Consumer. In 2001, he joined Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of Global Consumer, Retail and Business Services for six years. More recently, David was a partner at Nova Capital, a private equity company focused on the acquisition of non-core companies from corporates, was an Executive Advisor for the Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Fund and formed and is the CEO of Orbin & Company, LLC, an investment banking and private investment boutique.
