Bio

Adam is currently the Managing Director, Investment Tax and joined OMERS in January 2016. In this role, Adam is responsible for the tax structuring and tax oversight of OMERS investments in the Americas and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining OMERS, Adam was a Senior Manager of Tax at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, where he led the tax due diligence and tax structuring elements of transactions in the infrastructure, private equity and private debt groups. Adam has extensive experience structuring transactions in Canada, the U.S., South America and Australia. He brings a unique combination of business perspective and attention to detail, which are needed in the changing global tax landscape. Adam began his career at KPMG LLP, where he worked in both the audit and tax functions. Adam has a Honours Bachelor of Administrative Studies from York University and holds the CPA, CA designation.
