Bio

Mr. Horiike is a senior vice president on Oaktree’s Marketing and Client Relations team, where he focuses on business development and serves institutional investors in Japan. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Mr. Horiike was the Head of Japan Marketing at Siguler Guff Company where he was responsible for building their Tokyo office, solving regulatory matters and business building and planning. Before that, he was the Co-Head of Institutional Sales at BNY Mellon Asset Management Japan and Head of Business Strategy and Planning at Gordon Brothers Japan. Mr. Horiike’s additional experience includes roles at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Ernst & Young. He earned his Masters in Financial Law from University College London and his B.A. in business law from Kyoto University. Mr. Horiike is a native Japanese speaker.
