Bio

David joined Oakley in 2013 and has over 20 years of principal investing, M&A and operational experience. David’s focus at Oakley is primarily on deal origination, execution and investment advice. David started his career at Credit Suisse’s Principal Transaction Group in 1998 in New York and London, before moving to Morgan Stanley in London where he focused on media and telecoms M&A and private equity. He then moved to Candover, where he was an Investment Director involved in a wide range of prospective, completed and exited deals and he also jointly set up Candover’s Asian operations in Hong Kong. He subsequently spent four years as the co-founder and COO of a SaaS internet start-up before joining Oakley in 2013. David holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD Business School in France/Singapore, and an MA (Oxon) in Law from Pembroke College, Oxford.
