Bio

Mr. Ryan is Head of Business Development, focusing on new business origination and sourcing for the private equity platform. Prior to MidOcean, Dan was Partner and Head of Business Development at Milestone Partners, as well as a member of the firm's investment committee. While at Milestone, Mr. Ryan was responsible for originating and qualifying new investment opportunities and managing relationships with deal referral sources and debt financing partners. He was a senior member of the portfolio monitoring team and held board seats and observation rights for numerous Milestone portfolio companies since joining the firm in 2008. Mr. Ryan also managed the business development effort for PeakEquity Partners since its inception in 2014. Previously, he worked in investment banking at Susquehanna International Group and B. Riley FBR. He currently serves on the boards of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and the 1789 Fund.
