Bio

Bill serves as General Counsel for MiddleGround. Bill started his legal career practicing Intellectual Property law at Godfrey & Kahn in Milwaukee, WI and then at Merchant & Gould in Minneapolis, MN. He subsequently went in-house to Katun Corporation, an international manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket components for office equipment. At Katun, Bill served as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer for over a dozen years, as well as Chief Compliance Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. He completed his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his J.D. at the University of Illinois Chicago – John Marshall Law School. Bill likes to spend free time with his wife of 15 years, Cyndi, and two daughters, Elle and Alexa. Despite living in Minnesota, his hobbies include mostly warm weather activities such as boating, swimming, running and biking which he gets to enjoy about one month every year. He also enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers – having grown up his entire childhood just 3 miles from Lambeau Field. Cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers comes in a close second.
