Bio

Mr. Correa is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Marlin. His primary responsibilities include overseeing the financial, regulatory compliance and administrative functions of the Marlin funds and related entities. Mr. Correa has over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax, operations, risk management and SEC regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Marlin, he spent over 15 years at H.I.G. Capital, where he most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of the firm’s U.S. and Latin American buyout funds and venture capital funds. Prior to joining H.I.G., he served as the Director of Corporate Taxation at Perry Ellis International and, prior thereto, began his career in the tax practice at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Correa received his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting and Accounting & Taxation, respectively, from the University of Florida, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
