Bio

Prior to joining Longbow in November 2012, Dan was a Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D) at Macquarie Capital Canada and was involved in more than 160 A&D processes with a total value exceeding $35 billion over his 11-year tenure. Prior to Macquarie, Dan was one of the founders of Tristone Capital and was actively involved in the development of the A&D practice in Canada as well as technical evaluations with the Tristone Investment Banking group. In 2009 Tristone was acquired by Macquarie Capital. Prior to joining Tristone, Dan ran his own consulting practice focusing on A&D evaluations and Business Development. Dan also worked on the executive teams for public and private companies for 15 years. Dan holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Calgary and has been a registered Professional Geologist since 1979.
