Apoorva joined Insight in 2021. He is currently driving Insight’s investments in India or cross-border focused high-growth businesses across Series A to pre-IPO stages in FinTech, internet, and software sectors. His career experience prior to Insight includes technology investments at Omidyar Network India, a leading early-stage investment fund in India and managing operations for a $300M+ consumer-business at ITC, one of the largest consumer-product firm in India. Apoorva has also spent time with Baring Private Equity Asia, a leading middle-market private equity fund and Fidelity Investments conducting in-depth sector research, performing valuation analysis, and sourcing potential investment opportunities. Apoorva holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and Bachelors in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Personal interests include learning new dance forms, indulging in regional cinemas, travelling and exploring cities with great food.
