AJ joined Insight in 2022 and focuses on global venture and growth investments in software and fintech. Prior to joining Insight, AJ was a Partner at Golden Palm, an early-stage venture firm investing across fintech, commerce, supply chain, and digital health in Africa. At Golden Palm, AJ led investments in over 20 companies including Flutterwave, Andela, Sokowatch, and Reliance Health. He also served as a board director of numerous African tech companies. Additionally, AJ spent time as an investor at Highland Capital Partners and Amity Ventures, where he focused on software and fintech investments in the United States. In 2021, AJ was recognized as an honoree on the Forbes 30 under 30 Finance list in the United States. Prior to his work in venture, AJ spent numerous years working in Product roles for high-growth technology startups in Silicon Valley. AJ graduated with an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from The Wharton School, and a BS from Cornell University. Outside of the office, AJ serves as a board trustee of his high school, Boston College High School. In his spare time, AJ loves to box, spin, and run through Fort Greene Park.
