Bio

Detlef Dinsel is a Managing Partner. Detlef joined IK in 1996. Prior to this, he worked as a manager for Bain & Company and as Managing Director of the Schmidlin division of Hilti AG. Detlef has over 20 years' experience in the Small and Mid Cap segments, focusing on the engineered products sector. He has been involved in numerous transactions, and served on the Board of Directors of GHD, Schenck Process, Transnorm, Minimax Viking, Agros Nova, svt Group, APOSAN, Messerschmitt Systems, amongst others. Detlef holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
