Bio

Mr. Javanmardi is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2015, Mr. Javanmardi worked as the Lead Mergers and Acquisitions Reservoir Engineer for Energy XXI (“EXXI”), a Gulf of Mexico E&P operator. Prior to EXXI, Mr. Javanmardi was a Vice President with Capital One Securities Inc., where he specialized in Large-Cap E&P Equity coverage. Additionally, Mr. Javanmardi spent four years with Chevron North America and three years with Shell Exploration & Production Company in roles of increasing responsibility in Reservoir Engineering and Business Development. Mr. Javanmardi graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Emory University. In addition, he is a graduate of Stanford University's Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies program.
