Bio

David is a partner at Hg and works on the Mercury fund. He sits on Hg’s Realisation Committee. David has a particular focus on technology investments in the healthcare, HR and supply chain clusters. David has worked in private equity since 2004 and joined Hg in 2012. David previously led Hg’s investment in Relay Software and co-led the investment in Valueworks. He currently sits on the boards of Allocate Software, Esendex, Evaluate and Trace One; all investments by the Hg Mercury fund. David joined from Apax Partners where he worked in both their London and New York offices. Prior to Apax, he worked in investment banking at Lazard and as a management consultant at LEK Consulting. David holds a first class Masters degree from Oxford University.
