Brian Boland joined GIP as a Managing Director in 2021. He is based in New York. Mr. Boland was previously a Managing Director and Co-Head of Midstream Infrastructure at EIG Global Energy Partners. At EIG, Mr. Boland was responsible for the origination and execution of equity and credit investments in energy-related infrastructure projects and companies on a global basis and was a member of the firm’s equity advisory committee. Prior to EIG, Mr. Boland was a member of the Global Energy and Leveraged Finance groups at Credit Suisse where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions in the power, renewable energy, and midstream sectors. Mr. Boland holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University.
