Bio

Andre Burba is a GIP Credit Managing Director. He is based in New York. Prior to joining GIP in 2020, Mr. Burba spent nearly 12 years at Pine Brook, a New York based private equity firm, where he most recently served as a Partner, overseeing a portfolio of energy investments. From 2004 – 2008, Mr. Burba worked across the power, midstream and renewables sectors at Credit Suisse. Mr. Burba began his career as a project finance counsel at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy where he represented lenders and borrowers in a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions. Mr. Burba holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School and a B.A. from West Virginia University.
