Alex Blum is a Vice President at Gemspring Capital. Prior to joining Gemspring, Alex worked at Huron Capital Partners, a lower-middle market private equity firm in Detroit. While at Huron, Alex focused on the evaluation and execution of control and non-control investments in the business services and industrials sectors. Prior to Huron, Alex worked as a Senior Analyst at The Keystone Group, a boutique management consultancy in Chicago focused on manufacturing and distribution clients. Alex began his career as an audit staff accountant at Ernst & Young. Alex earned a BS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maryland.
