Bio

Chad Hooker is a Vice President for Fulcrum Equity Partners and joined the team in 2015. He focuses on evaluating new investment opportunities, performing due diligence on companies that meet the Fund’s criteria and supporting portfolio companies with their growth initiatives. Chad also works closely with Fulcrum’s investment in Summit Spine and Joint Centers, supporting the Company’s de novo, acquisition and ancillary services strategies. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Chad worked at Citizens M&A Advisory, a middle-market investment bank in Atlanta, GA, where he provided M&A and capital raising advisory services to a variety of technology, healthcare and business services clients. His previous career experience also includes equity research coverage of infrastructure software and cybersecurity companies at Stephens, Inc. He received a BA from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, where he graduated with honors, and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Chad is the President of the Young Southern Capital Forum and serves on the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association’s Review and Selection Committee. Previously, Chad served on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia’s Corporate Development Society, Technology Association of Georgia’s Top 10/40 Most Innovate Company Selection Committee and ACG’s Fast 40 Selection Committee. Outside of Fulcrum, Chad is a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta and has served on the Young Leadership Council.
