William joined Francisco Partners Consulting in 2018 as an Operating Advisor with a focus on product and technology topics. Originating from New Zealand, William is an experienced technologist with over 30 years working in enterprise systems. Starting out in engineering and architecture roles in travel and legal systems, he has worked through a range of technical, consulting, product, and management roles across the world alongside multiple private equity organizations. William successfully guided Keystone, Solution 6, and Aderant through three generations of technology investment and innovation in enterprise software, driving both the architecture and process optimization that resulted in Aderant being ultimately sold to Roper Technologies in 2016 for $675M and William joining the executive team as Head of Engineering for Aderant.
