Tom Hodgson is a Managing Director at Fajr Capital and covers principal investments, primarily focused on consumer related sectors across MENA, Turkey and South East Asia. Tom has led a number of private equity transactions at Fajr Capital, and sits on the board and committees of several portfolio companies. Prior to joining Fajr Capital, Tom worked as Director, Corporate Finance Advisory at Deloitte. He has more than sixteen years of advisory experience in sell-side and buy–side M&A, IPO advisory, business and asset valuations and capital restructuring. He has worked on transactions in Europe, US, Asia and the Middle East. Tom is a certified chartered accountant (ACA), has an Executive MBA from CASS Business School and an Islamic Finance Qualification from the Securities & Investment Institute (SII).
