Bio

Before joining DPE, Dr Alexander Matzner was SVP of Digital Innovation at Sky Deutschland and was responsible for digitalisation at the company. Prior to this role, he was Head of Purchasing at the same company and responsible for its strategic and operational purchasing. Before working at Sky, he was a corporate consultant at McKinsey & Company and headed projects related to product development and lean operations in the automotive, mechanical engineering and chemical industries. He began his career as an officer in the German Air Force, where he flew the Tornado fighter plane in the German Bundeswehr. Dr Alexander Matzner studied aerospace technology at the Bundeswehr University Munich, where he obtained his doctorate in artificial intelligence.
