Bio

Mr. Simmons was one of three co-founders of CHS Capital in 1988. Prior to founding Fund I, Mr. Simmons was a Vice President with Citicorp's Leveraged Capital Group in Chicago. Before joining Citicorp, he was employed by Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh and Chicago. He holds an A.B. from Cornell University. Mr. Simmons serves on the Board of Directors of Dura-Line Holdings, LVI Services Inc., and Thermon Group Holdings, Inc. Mr. Simmons also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Public Education Fund, and serves on the Board of Directors of The Latin School, Lincoln Park Zoo, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation and the Visiting Committee of the University of Chicago School of Social Service.
