Bio

Mr. Kloosterman is a Managing Director for Cerberus and joined the Firm in 2020. Prior to joining Cerberus, Mr. Kloosterman was at ABN AMRO for more than two decades and held various senior executive roles at in the United States, Brazil, and Southeast Asia. From 2006 to 2008, he was a member of the Executive Board of Fortis, responsible for investment management and private banking, and separately, was member of the Board of Rabobank International, with a special focus on the food and agriculture value chain, from 2009 to 2018. Currently, Mr. Kloosterman is a Supervisory Board member of Achmea, Board member of Stichting Continuïteit Takeaway.com, and Board member of Stichting AGRI3, a joint venture between Rabobank and the United Nations that focuses on the protection of the tropical rainforest and the development of sustainable agriculture. Mr. Kloosterman graduated from Leiden University’s Law School.
