Bio

Bertram started his career in 1995 as a Credit Officer for the French subsidiary of HVB/Vereinsbank Group. He continued his career with the Group in Munich and became Managing Director in 1998, in charge of managing the LBO portfolio. In particular, he created and managed a €10 billion portfolio (180 LBO transactions in Europe, the United States and Asia). From 2007 to 2017, Bertram was Managing Director of Avenue Capital Group, Responsible for the Germany, Austria and Switzerland regions and Portfolio Manager. During this time, he established a Private Debt strategy in Germany and invested €350m in financing German SMEs. He joined the CAPZA’s Germany subsidiary in September 2017.
