Andrew founded Cairngorm Capital in 2014. He leads all the firm’s investing and portfolio management activities. He serves on the Investment Committee and is a Board member of Customade Group and Parker Building Supplies. From 2007-2013, he was a founder member of the London team for H.I.G. Capital, helping that US private equity firm establish an industry-leading investment record in Europe. Among other roles there, he served on the Boards of Synseal Extrusions and FNZ. Previously, Andrew was Director of Business Development at Home Depot Inc. a $260Bn distributor of building materials headquartered in Atlanta, USA. In the 1990s, he held a series of international managerial roles at Caradon Plc. He started his career as a management consultant with Booz & Co. in London. Andrew has spent many years enjoying adventures in Scotland’s Cairngorm National Park. MBA Harvard Business School (where he was a Bobby Jones scholar) and BSc (Hons) Economics St. Andrews University.
