Bio

Ben Schnakenberg is a Managing Director in the Private Equity Group. With his colleague, Greg Hiatrides, Ben leads the firm’s private equity team where he is responsible for directing the group’s lower middle market investment activities, facilitating team development and working with portfolio company management teams to drive value creation. Prior to joining Bow River Capital, Ben was a Partner at High Road Capital Partners where he led the execution of seven lower middle market platform company acquisitions, and 18 add-on acquisitions. Previously, he held roles at LaSalle Bank and Madison Capital Funding. Ben earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA at Valparaiso University. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Ben is a member of the National Alumni Council for the honors college of Valparaiso University.
