Bio

Mr. Gombert joined Bain Capital Private Equity in May 2011. He is a Managing Director and the Global Private Equity General Counsel. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Mr. Gombert was an attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in London and focused on private equity M&A. Prior to Simpson Thacher, he was an attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in London and New York. Mr. Gombert also worked as a corporate lawyer in Brussels for several years. Mr. Gombert received an LLM degree with distinction from Northwestern University School of Law, and he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ghent School of Law.
