Bio

David Kim is a Partner and Co Head of the Investor Relations team. He joined the firm in 2000 and is based in New York. He co-led fundraising from North and South America for Apax VIII, IX, X as well as Apax Digital and AMI. Prior to joining the Investor Relations team he was a Partner in the Retail & Consumer team. Prior to joining Apax Partners, David was a Principal at Butler Capital Corporation and an artillery officer in the U.S. Army where he graduated from the U.S. Army Airborne, Ranger and Jungle Warfare schools. He is a combat veteran of Operation Just Cause. David received a BS with Distinction from the United States Military Academy, West Point and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. David is also the Co-founder and CEO of the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation which provides college scholarships to military children who have lost a parent to combat or training.
