Mr. Santos-Buch is a Partner at AE Industrial and focuses on origination, executing and monitoring of new portfolio investments and is active in investor relations for the firm. He currently sits on the boards of AE Industrial’s portfolio companies: BHI and Resolute. Mr. Santos-Buch joined AE Industrial in 2014 and has over 40 years of investment banking and private equity experience. Over his career, he has been involved in over $30 billion of financings and M&A transactions. Mr. Santos-Buch led the transaction origination efforts at UBS Capital, LLC and UBS Capital Americas, LLC for more than a decade, identifying investment opportunities across various industries including aerospace and specialty industrials. Mr. Santos-Buch founded the Financial Sponsor Coverage Groups at UBS AG and PaineWebber Incorporated. He has also held senior leveraged finance and sponsor coverage positions at CIBC World Markets, Oppenheimer & Co., Alex. Brown & Sons and Kidder, Peabody & Co. Mr. Santos-Buch received a BA with honors from Harvard University and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
